Welcome to UnusualDetails (the “App”, “we”, “our”, “us”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you may provide while using our suspense‑themed “find‑the‑inconsistency” game. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how we use and share that data, your choices, and how to contact us. By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described below.

2. What Information We Collect

• Device & Log Data – device model, OS version, language, country, truncated IP address, session timestamps, crash reports. Used to ensure compatibility, diagnose crashes and prevent fraud.
• Gameplay Analytics – level progress, in‑game events, non‑personal identifiers (e.g. Firebase Analytics Instance ID). Used to balance levels and improve features.
• Advertising Identifier – Google Advertising ID (AAID) if ads are enabled; used to deliver non‑personalised ads and cap frequency.

No account login, social media integration, contacts, camera, microphone or precise GPS data is collected.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Operate and improve gameplay.

4. Third‑Party Services

• Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics – crash logs and aggregated usage statistics.
• Google AdMob / Ad Manager – serve ads in ad‑supported builds.

Partners are bound by their own privacy policies and may not use the data for purposes beyond our authorisation.

5. Data Sharing & Transfers

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the third‑party services listed above, when required by law, or to protect rights, property or safety. Servers may be located outside your country; we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross‑border transfers.

6. Data Retention

• Crash and analytics data: retained up to 24 months then aggregated or deleted.
• Advertising identifiers: reset when you reinstall the App or reset the advertising ID in device settings.

We keep data longer only if required to satisfy legal obligations or resolve disputes.

7. Security

We use industry‑standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and restrict internal access on a need‑to‑know basis. However, no Internet transmission is 100 % secure.

8. Your Rights & Choices

• Opt‑out of personalised ads: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.
• Limit analytics: disable “Usage & Diagnostics” in Android settings.
• Request or delete data: see Section 9 below.
• Withdraw consent: uninstall the App or contact us.

We honour rights granted by applicable laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, LGPD).

9. Account / Data Deletion

The App requires no account. To delete crash‑log or analytics data linked to your device, email us at [email protected] with:

1. The subject line “UnusualDetails data deletion”.
2. Your Advertising ID (Settings → Privacy → Ads → Copy ID) or Crashlytics identifier.

We will erase or anonymise your data within 30 days and confirm via email.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App targets users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes such data has been provided, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in‑app and via this URL at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
